Kaukauna, WI: There is a new, joy-filled high school opening in Kaukauna in the fall.
A new Catholic classical high school is officially opening in Kaukauna. A ribbon cutting/dedication ceremony will take place on Wednesday, August 18 from 4 - 6 p.m. for St. Ignatius Chesterton Academy. Bishop David Ricken is presiding and will bless the new school, located at 220 Doty St., in Kaukauna. The ceremony will take place in Holy Cross Church. Following the ceremony, attendees may tour the new school, which is attached to the church and enjoy refreshments in Friendship Hall. Bishop David Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay said, “I’ve long supported classical schools. The rich curriculum will help students find their place in Jesus’s mission. When we seek truth, beauty, and goodness, we discover Jesus. I feel confident that St. Ignatius Chesterton Academy will foster intentional disciples of Christ.” Chesterton Academies uniquely prepare students for lifelong success through proven instructional methodologies and integrated classical curriculum. As a classical school, we foster great thinkers, leaders, and disciples of Jesus Christ.
